Jeffrey M Philbrick
Mr. Philbrick represents the family owner influence of Evergreen Health Group. Growing up as a child engulfed in all aspects of his family-owned rest home, he found himself a permanent fixture with growing participation in the family business. As the successor to the business his parents built, Mr. Philbrick has been instrumental in preserving the family atmosphere while introducing the requisite changes mandated by an evolving industry. Having gained the unique operating insight of working in virtually every operating department of the business, he was alert to the transformative need to migrate to a more progressive model of operations. This extended to his direct efforts to reposition and revitalize property interests – introducing more progressive clinical programming as well as introducing assisted living operations. Beyond his innate operational knowledge, Mr. Philbrick has developed particular expertise in property management and development – as evidenced by his renovation and expansion achievements at Colonial Poplin / Poplin Way.
Since 1990, Mr. Philbrick has served as Assistant Administrator, Administrator and President of Colonial Poplin Nursing Home. In 2000 he began the process of expanding Colonial Poplin’s services to include supported residential care when Poplin Way Assisted Living operations commenced in 2002. He actively led and collaborated on the design, development and financing of the project while assuming ensuing operating responsibilities.
In 2013, Mr. Philbrick initiated efforts to establish Evergreen Health Group – recognizing that the growing demands and emerging changes in the business extended beyond his family resources to be sustainable and successful for the long term. He envisioned a future that preserved the family business attributes of a local community business though recognized the need for more diverse and specialized capabilities than his own. The founding Principals he was successful in engaging represented such a complement of talent. Evergreen Health Group was effectively seeded through the ownership participation of existing interests by the three Principals and the ensuing purchase of Fox Den Retirement Community in Sandown, NH in 2013.
